    ... rooms, smoking rooms - huge airport - all very interesting .

    Went to a Starbuck by gate 21 - to get 2 bottles of water. My debit/atm card would NOT work - used Arvest Visa - worked. Whew! Water was needed at this point - along with the snacks we brought.

    Flew Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong to Bangkok, Thailand - was very nice - served food, wine - very friendly staff! Exceptional compared to AA in US.

    So from Santa Rosa, which I told you about, we hit the road and, I have to say, staying on the 40 freeway is a piece of cake, if you don't mind the immense amount of truck traffic on these routes. They are professional drivers, and are courteous, so it's not big deal, but sometimes we wondered if the entire scenery of the US was the ass end of big rigs (I'm exaggerating, for effect).

    We woke up to a foggy morning, in Decatur, Alabama. We were all sleepy from the time change, and got a bit of a late start.
