Today we had an easy day. We sat around, Grandpa played solitaire while I read. Dana couldn't believe how much I read throughout the day, but I told him that this was my way to relax. It was in the high 90s so I stayed inside for most of the time. Grandpa and Dana went and rode around USC Stanislaus for a little while, while I stayed and read. Then...(this is where I left off on Saturday, and now I can't remember what I was going to say). We ...

... I won't. A pool, waterfalls, fountains, koi!, fruit, and so many beautiful plants. The space is laid out beautifully and everything works together. I can't say enough so I won't even try. We had dinner, and chatted for a while, catching the Taylors up on news of the family. Such a nice time. Grandpa is sleeping downstairs in an armchair while I have a bedroom all to my own! And a welcome basket! Have I mentioned how much I love this ...

There wasn't much going on in the way of entertainment on board that night so we just went back to shower, have dinner, hit up the hot tub, and go to ...

A travel blog entry by samspurlock on Mar 19, 2012

One great way to see the world is cruising the waters. This past March my friends and I went on a five day Carnival Cruise to the Caribbean to explore the amazing waters and islands in the Caribbean.

      Word: Soothing

We went on the Carnival Destiny, which was one of the older ships in the Carnival cruise lines. While it is a nice ship, because all cruise ships are luxurious, it was definitely a little used. I think that really is simply because ...

... dead. brown skin, it looks like one of these rubber-noses from carnival.
A short drive between smooth, beige hills with dead grass and through the massive cloud of a nearby fire brought us to the Sunset Inn in Turlock:Clean! Parket floor, marble side board, fridge, micro wave, new shower, working flush and... did I mentio CLEAN?!!! We spent ...
