    ... about our TV and how the movers were not packing it into a wooden crate (that’s how his TV was shipped to Geneva). So we shall see if a box or crate is more efficient when transporting a TV (either way, good thing we have shipping insurance and will be covered if something were to happen).

    We took The Standrings' advice today and, after a leisurely breakfast, set out for the California coast and Carlsbad beach. it was a lovely, warm sunny day when we left Vail Lake, but after an hour or so's drive (literally the moment we passed the Carlsbad city limit) the sky clouded over.

    This wasn't necessarily a bad thing, though, as I'm sure we would all have cooked if it had stayed sunny. As it was it was pleasantly warm the whole time we were there, and the boys, as usual, ...
