      ... Temecula. The shops were almost deserted, but we spent an hour or so wandering around before grabbing a Mexican food lunch and heading back to Pechanga. In the afternoon, we headed over to the casino to play slots and look around. By the time we came out around 6:30 PM, another cold breeze had sprung up, so I quickly grilled cheeseburgers for dinner and we spent another evening in the camper.

      The Leo Carillo Ranch is an old ranch that was once owned by the actor, Leo Carrillo of the TV series The Cisco Kid fame (he played Pancho). It's now owned by the City of Carlsbad and has been designated a Historical National Landmark. We learned about the ranch years ago from someone at the Visitors Centre in downtown San Diego, but didn't actually venture there until last year. We made a second trip today.
