    For a motel 6 this was a good one - very close to all the Silicon Valley locations!

    We drove up to the Novitiate of the Sacred Heart which is now a retirement home for Jesuits. It's a lovely building, with pretty gardens on a big area, and very nice view over the valley and hills. It is only about half a mile up the hill behind our hotel, so very close.     Yesterday marked the beginning of our 4th month of the adventure. The trip has really been about making contact with people and places unfamiliar, re connecting with friends and family and staying just outside the edge of our comfort zone.
