    ... hotel and I adjusted Dave P steering. It was about 4.5 inches of play and I got it to about 3 inches. It has been hot - 90's. Tuesday I took out the thermostat from the top radiator hose and engine has been running cooler. I have also been playing with the spark and have found a sweet spot were the engine runs real well and temp has been the lowest. When we got onto 55 I was running at 47 to 49 mph. and the temp stayed nice and steady. Good night Ready for Lincoln's stuff ...

    We are leaving tomorrow for our great adventure west on the Lewis & Clark Trail. We're not sure how long we will be gone, planning for 3 months. It's our first trip without a deadline, so meandering is the way we're going. We have a general plan in mind, but are free to take side trips if we want.
