... second to none. I can't wait to go back for the second part of the training PRSBI. Food was great, ate 2 of the best hamburgers ever. The green chili burgers from Buckhorn Tavern and The Owl in San Antonio New Mexico were awesome. The Bordega Burger Company had a wonderful Prime Rib that could feed an Army. EMS patches were hung up at.. The Owl, Buckhorn Tavern, Bordega Burger Company Stayed at the Best Western... Nice, clean ...

... but what a bar! They salute owls, veterans, owlish veterans, bikers, and everyone who walks through their door. We'd all walked through the door a few times before, so we were primed. Florence and I drove down from ABQ and Dick and Jean up from Truth or Consequences.

Our server has a personality that was off-the-charts and made just for a place like the Owl Bar. If we needed or wanted anything, it was there almost before we finished ...

... pie with macaroon absolutely delicious.

The couple at the table across from us were from Western Australia and are travelling by RV for a month, we chatted for a while.

We saw the National Radio Astronomy and the huge array of radio telescopes see the photos.

Arrived at Socorro at 1730. traveled 202 miles today it was a good ride.

... a block off the main road, and lots of cute old fashion Southwestern buildings dotted the pedestrian friendly street.

Eventually we headed back to the room and decided to go have some New Mexican cuisine at the Mexican diner next to the hotel called "El Camino".
