... like God made a dirtbike park out here. It would be fun to ride up a hill and jump it - as long as you didn't hit a cow on the other side. We drove on through Billings and got to see the city as the interstate overlooks the whole thing from up on a bluff. There was a walking trail up there - a neat place. Good to see Montana does have a big city! We arrived at Pete's about 8:00 and it was a nice place for one night. More driving ...

Now you've all seen the emails regarding the dress sense of some Walmart customers. Well, we didn't see any of that sort of thing but Snap did manage to find the gun department.

Along the way we saw some minor stops and did a few of them till we came to Devils Kitchen. I can't find it anywhere on a map or Google and it was way down some dirt ...

... the soup and fried flatbread and I had the Buffalo Burger, followed by Cherry Pie and ice cream. Sarah engaged a Crow girl in conversation (just two Indians having a chat...) and learned heaps about her life on the Reservation. Then we drove an hour to Sheridan to our hotel which was a bit more rundown than we expected given it was rated as three star. Seemed to have a major problem with ...

... a few perfectly placed clouds to emphasize the bast blue sky. My first week of driving in rainy weather made me smile all the more at the sun... even if it was a little too warm in the car. :)

We saw countless wildlife today... but we tried to keep yet another list of them: bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope (so many!!!!), prairie dogs, coyote (with its prey in its mouth), mule deer, many birds (including ducks)!

    We also saw lots ...
