... over the Canadian River. Yes, it is in the US, eh?. The Canadian River is 906 miles long and runs from Colorado to Texas. Ada, Oklahoma is about 3 times larger than Ada, Ohio. It also contains a University, East Central University.
Tomorrow, we are heading to near Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas. We hope that we do not hit any flooding or storm damage from a few weeks ago.
When I did a search on Food Network's "On The Road" App for places to eat on our trip, The Rock Cafe in Stroud stood out because it listed some German dishes I knew we'd enjoy :)
It did not disappoint in "Historic Rte 66" cuteness or yumminess. But, we need to start finding some places that specialize in healthy salads soon ;)

... to the locals. We spoke at great length with the staff about our journey and we have also decided to head down to the same place for breakfast tomorrow too.
In order to get a bit of an easier drive tomorrow we have booked a hotel in Amarillo (Texas) next to a Steak Ranch which is supposed to be quite famous for being on the route. Tomorrow should be less driving then which I (Stoo) am looking forward to. Lots of pictures for today. Enjoy!

Left home about 5:45. Flight from OKC at 9:15. Arrived O'Hare 11:15. The international terminal is a totally different building so we had to go out of security, ride a tram to the international terminal and go back through security so that took awhile. Everything else was smooth. Talked to a girl while waiting at the gate who lives in Dublin and had been visiting ...
