After our experience further north where they were keeping such a tight reign on who sees the elephant seals, surely we couldn't just pull off the road and watch them. Guess what. We could. For Rick it holds the memories of a two week long summer workshop he and two friends attended years ago. It was quite the experience. But that is another story for another time.

... or large zucchini. They grow on vines and when they reach maturity, they turn brown and start to dry out, and at that point the bottom pops open and the seeds drop to the ground. The skin is peeled off and the rest of the seed pods can be removed. The sponge is rinsed to clean it completely. The last step is drying in the sun. I’m sure this is the simple explanation and there are more steps, but you get the idea. ...
