There are nets placed every so often along the dock so you can snag garbage out of the water. The net effect is a beautiful marina. And it should be. A 50 foot slip costs $200,000. That only gets you in the door. Then you still have to pay nearly $600 per month for moorage! ...

We arrived in LAX on Friday afternoon just in time for rush hour! after picking up our hire car we hit the road pretty quickly hoping to beat the traffic but we quickly found out that's not the way it goes in LA on a Friday afternoon!! Traffic was bumper to bumper the whole way to Santa Barbara so instead of an hour & forty minutes it took us three hours to get there! We were staying with our friends Brad & Caroline in ...
