After a short stay in South San Francisco to catch up with ourselves and have a day on the beach plus a massive Chinese we start the road trip down the coast. First stop is Boulder Creek as we found a nice apartment online on Air b&b. This is a good location for a day trip to Santa Cruz and is not too far down the coast for us to drive over to Yosmite. We had yummy salmon, chicken fried and lovely, a tasty rissotto type dish, and a ...

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Johnny Carino’s Italian Restaurant. We always enjoyed this restaurant when it was in New Mexico and it didn’t disappoint. The portions are gigantic, so we’ll get to have a second meal with the boxes we brought ...

... had pho, which I'd never tried before. It's a Vietnamese noodle soup dish with beef, very tasty! I liked it a lot. Then afterwards we went for drinks with a few of Robert's friends at a bar called wagon in San Pedro Square in San Jose. The next morning one of Robert's housemates so kindly offered to drive me over to my cousin's place in Campbell, thanks Ian :-)! My cousin, Simon, and his wife, Kayla, had recently moved down to the San Jose area from Toronto when he got a ...
