    Dining with royalty in the El Centro of nowhere

    ... the bodyguards etc gave this away eventually. Apparently the El Centro landscape is good preparation for Afghanistan terrain.

    Harry and his squadron were good customers drinking many pitchers of beer and leaving a generous tip. We can now officially say we have eaten in the same place as royalty.

    Sounds like a few other famous folk have been there throughout the years...Reagan, The Blue Angels Pilots etc. (and now us!!)

    ... by James Cameron. It is is called Ghosts Of The Abyss. What he does is he goes down to the Titanic Wreckage and explores the inside the wrekage with small expensive probes. We only got to see one exhibit called The Horse. It was really cool and was all about the horse. Eating, hearing, history, everything.

    We leave in plenty of time for our drive back up to LA from San Diego, on paper it's about two hours but we have around four hours to get there in case the freeway is busy, we left at half eight and by the back of nine the freeway has fairly thinned out, as you do on a long boring drive I got bored so I took the car out of automatic and put her into manual, I now have an eight speed sequential gear ...
