    ... and some sleep. We just hung around the house today and I will leave tomorrow. I was going to leave very early-but looking at a Google map that showed traffic patterns convinced me to wait till 9 am to leave.

    May 14th-We talked till after 9 and finally off. Google maps had said I-5 would be best, but this morning it looked like I-405 should be my route. First stop was for fuel-$4.19 a gallon!!!!!! Wow! Luckily I only needed 1/2 ...

    Next is New Zealand where we will stay with family who have lived there for the last year. We will spend a month or so traveling the country and experiencing the beauty first hand. Ill pay for my family to head down under to Australia with us and spend a weekend in the brush. I know what you're thinking but how could I call myself an outdoors-woman if I haven't camped the Brush of Australia?
