Motel 6 Sacramento - Rancho Cordova East

... and not just on Mardi Gras. No surprise there. There is a walkway that connects old town to new town and New Town is a bit more modern. It has a lot of outdoor shopping centers. We didn't always feel safe once we left the shopping centers. It was a bit dodgy. The capital of California is Sacramento, so they have a mini white house looking building here and a park surrounding it. The park was not the best, but it had a lot of rose bush and orange trees. ...

We wanted to arrive at the airport in Mexico late afternoon and catching a taxi to bring us not too late to our final destination. The best connecting and shortest flights were offered by United. We bought this time tickets directly at the airline in order to avoid the hassle we had the last time with Expedia (see my China blog).
