Packing... one of my least favorite things. There is, inevitably, this utterly horrible feeling of forgetting something. You know you have, you always do, and you know it is going to be the most important thing. In the end, you must resign yourself to it and tell yourself "just relax, you'll figure it out". Of course, the moment you'll figure it out will be in plane seat thousands of feet in ...
... In the dream, thinking about Jason's face, Celine Dion's 'All By Myself' started to play.
I was mortified. I scrambled to get into the car, but I couldn't open the car door, and then the keys dropped out of my hand, onto the ground, and (against the laws of physics), rolled up hill into a storm water drain.

The cat's name was Waffles and thus an epic nickname was finally born years and years after she gave me one. Yes, I'm a bit slow but I feel the quality of the nickname outweighs any unimportant tardiness on my part.
And so, let the countdown begin.
