What a miserable place!
It's hot as hell, the water in the pool looks like someone poured milk into it, and there is nothing to do in the area.
This is our own fault. We completely spaced about the holiday weekend and this was the ONLY place we could find available anywhere near where we want to go next.

We have been on the road for about a month by this point and we have settled into a pretty good rhythm with camper living whilst keeping a pretty fast pace. We have done about 3000 miles so far with maybe 9 or 10 thousand to go over the next four months . Our routine is often spending 2 or 3 nights per week in an RV park or state park, 2 or 3 in a Walmart, and one or two random eg. carpark, country roads etc. in short it would be nice ...

... where we will stay overnight tonight at the Hampton Inn. We are currently in Latta, South Carolina for a rest stop and for the bus to refuel. Estimated arrival time is now after 10:00 p.m. with a 7:00 a.m. departure in the morning.

we just arrived at the hotel and have checked into our room. Relaxing with our feet up as they are quite swollen from eight straight days of walking and a fourteen hour drive today.
