The birds also didn’t seem to like to eat dry food - they would either drop the food into the water or spit water into my hand before eating the pellets. Truly fascinating birds! ... Just before 2:00 we stopped in Savannah, Georgia for lunch at Cracker Barrel. I was disappointed that Miss Paula Deen wasn't there to greet me, as I have always been one of her biggest fans. Nevertheless, lunch was delicious as always. Courtney ordered a small serving of hash brown casserole with a side of fried apples. Nancy ordered the turkey soup with homemade noodles and a side of biscuits. I stuck to my standard choice at Cracker ...

... even has leftover pancakes to zap in our in-room microwave tomorrow morning. After dinner we perused the general store section of Cracker Barrel. They have such neat items, including a lot of patriotic themed decor, adorable kid's clothing and too many candy options to count. But, we restrained ourselves as we will stop at the Kissimmee location next week while we have our shopping day. Gotta get our fix of ...
