      ... trip that the license plate on our car would expire at the end of the month. I encountered this once before when I rented a car. I contacted the Highway Patrol for that state who informed me I would get a ticket and not the car rental agency. Peggy had contacted the car rental agency and obtained a replacement vehicle. They delivered it to us this evening. Another note: check when the license tag will expire when renting a vehicle.

      ... and a Wifi fix at Maccas, then made our way to Walmart to park the van and get some sleep! We named the Van Big Poppa! Tuesday 15th, April 150 miles until the Californian border, our rough destination was Sacromento but hopefully make it a bit further. Our first sleep in the van was pretty cool!       ... on the chair lift to 6095 feet. It was 80F at the bottom and 65F at the top. They had just opened the lift only yesterday for the summer. They have a restaurant at the top,where we got lunch, and also have a 9 hole disc golf course. It is really a type of frisbee and they have baskets you have to get the disc into. They take it seriously with a score card just like golf. It was nice to get a good look around the countryside. This morning, before we set off, we had three deer come ...

      ... in the box and weighed so we took our bags inside the building and packed our gear. After two hours of packing and paper work we were ready.
