    ... gave us was wrong. Room was right next to the kitchen and the pot banging started early. This was probably why there was a white noise machine in the room. But slept well. Monday Got up 7:00ish. There was French toast in the breakfast fare. Got cleaned up and headed back to Portland to go to Blue Star Donuts and Knit Purl. Got donuts and more yarn in Portland.     ... trip that the license plate on our car would expire at the end of the month. I encountered this once before when I rented a car. I contacted the Highway Patrol for that state who informed me I would get a ticket and not the car rental agency. Peggy had contacted the car rental agency and obtained a replacement vehicle. They delivered it to us this evening. Another note: check when the license tag will expire when renting a vehicle.

    ... on the chair lift to 6095 feet. It was 80F at the bottom and 65F at the top. They had just opened the lift only yesterday for the summer. They have a restaurant at the top,where we got lunch, and also have a 9 hole disc golf course. It is really a type of frisbee and they have baskets you have to get the disc into.
