... visitors...we never could figure out where the guy with the microphone trying to entice and heckle people was hiding. We did not pay the entrance fee to walk the trail but did go through the gift shop, with many of its souvenirs made in China, to visit the End of the Trail Museum. ... 500 gallons a day of water! Also, the rapid decrease in temperature. It went from 80 degrees in southern Oregon down to 60 in about an hour as we headed into California and the Redwoods.
