... capped mountains and probably had the quickest greens we have played on for the whole trip. We played with a local member and one of the golf shop staff. The weather and our company was great but our games need a little work before we hit the tee at Bandon Dunes!

Tomorrow we are off to Eugene, Oregon. It is about a 5 hour drive north from Redding. We will spend a couple of days there before we head to the coast and make a 3 day stop in Bandon, Oregon.

      Goodbye California

A travel blog entry by genevieve.abad on Feb 23, 2015

Today I left California and headed back home. Chantelle and I had to wake up at 3am and leave by 3:30am to catch my flight. I flew out of Sacramento because it is significantly cheaper than flying out of the Redding airport. I am assuming they have to charge more because Redding is so small. The last time I flew into the Redding airport, the only people on the fight were Chantelle, ...

... In-N-Out yesterday but ended up feeling nauseous on the way there and almost got sick right outside the restaurant. I decided I should settle my stomach with a lighter meal. Today I ordered what I always get at In-N-Out, the classic burger and fries. The fries are not frozen but are actually made in house. The potatoes are cut and deep-fried in front of you. The food isn’t just fresh but ridiculously inexpensive. If there were one in Calgary, I would probably ...

I had a very early start to my day. My alarm went off at 3am and I arrived at the airport at 4am to catch my 6:30am flight. Disorganized airport staff, long lineups, and unfriendly staff accompanied my early morning. It was my first time flying with Alaska Airlines and it wasn't long before I realized that it would not be my airline of choice next time. I arrived in Sacramento at 10:45am and was greeted by Chantelle and her to-be boyfriend, Donta. All throughout the day, I gave ...
