Finally we cross the state line and enter California. We stop off to visit Lake Tahoe. Its ever so nice. Pristine emerald and blue water surrounded by pine trees. What a beautiful place.
These mountain roads are something else, with scenery that is just breathtaking. We dont get into Redding till after 7pm, and find this really nice RV park off the highway and out of town. Doesnt take long to set up the tent, while Gerry is already set up with her camper van.

After leaving the redwoods we continued to head towards our next night stop in Redding. We ...

I had a very early start to my day. My alarm went off at 3am and I arrived at the airport at 4am to catch my 6:30am flight. Disorganized airport staff, long lineups, and unfriendly staff accompanied my early morning. It was my first time flying with Alaska Airlines and it wasn't long before I realized that it would not be my airline of choice next time. I arrived in Sacramento at 10:45am and was greeted by Chantelle and her to-be boyfriend, Donta. All throughout the day, I gave ...

We will spend the weekend with family so I hope to have a lot of photos to post starting tomorrow. We teach CPR on Saturday and will visit family in San Jose on Sunday evening.
