From various folks and businesses around Olds came sewing supplies for the women who have just come into some solar powered sewing machines, medical supplies such as Tylenol, dental floss, childrens' books, school supplies and a Calgary Flames duffel full of baseballs, one full of soccer balls and one with bats! ... named April and Phil. They have a very nice house with lots of fancy things including heated toilet seats and they have a fridge full of pop and junk food... I have found that they eat very unhealthy in lacombe generally, everyone has processed cheese and sunny D and they drink pop with every meal... But Fer and I get a say in the groceries, so we will fix that right up! It is nice to actually be living in lacombe now instead ...

Ok so it has been a while. Apologies. Banff was fun. Slept in the van with it parked at the local playgrounds. Hit the local hostel bar for cheap food and beer before stumbling back to the car. Banff was beautiful but still that touristy kind of place and it was full of Aussies. From Banff we drove to Calgary which ended up being a little bit different than I expected. I expected a city full ...
