    ... s exactly what we did, and we had a thoroughly lovely last night in Ubud, lunchtime turned into dinner time in a flash and before we knew it we were getting up the following morning, feeling less than clever and scrabbling around trying to pack up the house and get in our taxi to take us to the airport. Will we never learn….hmmm…probably not! Ha ha!

    ... a few kilometres (actually miles over here) to the Alberta District again. We had driven past a few little art shops on the way to & from dinner the night before and it sparked my interest. That and the fact that all the brochures 'rate' this area as 'Arty'!!

    Had Dinner at Desuthes beer. Tried Elk and Bison meat for the first time. They were amazing burgers!

    Next day visited Multnomah Falls. It was nice. Portland is scenic and drive was good. Went to visit the Vista house at the end. It had a great view.

    ... our guide handled it really well. But I did think a punch up was going to occur. The thing about Portland is it is a lovely city, it really reminds me of Melbourne in how it looks, just quieter. But there are so many homeless and drug affected people on the streets it is becoming an epidemic. They are everywhere!
