So now we are in San Francisco. We have been kindly taken in by ...

It was good to have the car at our disposal, and to be able to go back and forth to the kids' house. Back to their house for a quick visit, and to leave one of our bags of surplus stuff to collect later, and to pick up Aya and the girls. They drove us to San ...

San Francisco, Day 3

... plenty of young, old, 'normal' people out and about in these same areas and on our bus. Once we got on the bus 5 and went west past the park, it seemed less of a park and more just bush. There are plenty of things to do in there (museums and such) but it didn't appeal to us at the time so we took the bus all the way to the very western edge of the city where you'll find Ocean Beach. We walked up along Ocean Beach and took in the amazing ...
