    We made it to Cape Canaveral! Vern, Kim and the kids, along with Kevin and I, drove down to Canaveral from Atlanta. It took about 8 hours but there were lots of laughs, and some ice cream, to pass the time. Donna, Greg and the boys are on the way, but had a tough time with their flight.     ... some photos. The next hike we did was a quick 1 mile hike called the Scrub Ridge walk. This walk was along a marsh and there was no shade so it was very hot. We remembered to put on our hats so that helped a little. The guy at the visitor center said there were little scrub birds that live there and when they saw people they would gather around them and ask for food.
