    Headed to Dublin!

When I set up the blog, I'm not sure why I added June 18 since it was just our flight. I can't seem to remove it so here is a quick summary of the past 10 hours or so.

Our first leg was a 7 1/2 hour flight from Orlando to London-Gatwick on British Airways. We didn't sleep as much as we'd hoped, but was otherwise uneventful. Once at Gatwick, we went thru passport control and walked and walked, following countless signs to the South Terminal shuttle, then security check and ...

... Also, after being in the DCP, you have access to the Disney Professional Internships, internships that open the door to working in the Disney company in any capacity. This could mean working with the Disney Theatricals, the group that runs the 3 Disney Broadway theaters as well as their many Disney On Ice shows. I just think that this experience could open so many doors for me. And I mean who wouldn't want to spend 6 months in ...

... a beach front resort to go to the day after tomorrow, am hoping it will have settled by then, tho we are cutting it a bit fine.

I jumped in the bath for a much needed soak after all that heat and walking. We have defo caught the sun today. Looks like we will order in some food, no need to go anywhere tonight. Relax before another full on day. We didn't end up ordering anything, just ate the munchies we got from the supermarket, being too tired we just crashed out ...

... Orlando it stopped, just like that, Weird!

The other thing that happened was that James managed to convince Jane and Meg that it would be a good idea to go to Hooters for lunch. It is a restaurant and sports bar so we said it would ok for some simple food and drink. Well I objected of course, but not too strongly, however I was overruled and we went in for a spot of lunch. It was great fun, a bit tacky, but great fun as I said. The food ...

Orlando Florida. First impression - this place is green! And full of lakes. The taxi driver told us that it's full of alligators which I kind of thought he was joking about and compared to the fact that overseas people who've never visited Australia believe there are kangaroos hopping around in our backyards but apparently it is true. You never know when an alligator will turn up in a lake so swimming is a big no no. Who would have believed that? We met Yas and the kids at our ...
