... on Wednesday – I found a burger place that is actually better than our Grilled burgers back home. I’m doing you all a favour, when you come to the USA one day you must seek out the burger franchise called ‘Five Guys’. I had a full-on burger-gasm and even Julie thought they were pretty impressive.

Paying into the donation box, we headed down the roller coaster road, back onto Route 66 and passing by our home stretch at 11am. Now on to new pastures passing thru Verdigris - over the Verdigris River Catoosa - it's big blue whale. We had ...

We arrived at the Amarillo RV Ranch (lots of things collected together live under the name 'ranch' here) around 1:30pm. The drive was uneventful -- we're in a moment in the trip where our lives are lived on I-40 West. The one concerning thing was that Abe and I noticed the power on the a/c and the coldness was decreasing. I had some panic knowing that we're headed to the Southwest. After getting set up, we unhooked the truck and the kind ...
