... many that visit the Grand Canyon. An awesome drive, unfortunately we were two weeks early to see full fall colours.

Dollywood was fantastic, didn't ride any of the amusement park rides as plenty to see and do with all the live theatre performances. Appears a different age group come here to Orlando's Universal Studios. Old and grey whom love country music.

... evening ... So noisy with the cicadas & frogs chirping away. Murray went right to sleep after finishing a whole bottle of wine by himself & snored all night. I had a heck of a time getting to sleep ... Not sure why. We had the veranda screen door only & both windows open & the ceiling fan on. Didn't need the air conditioning on ... Very nice & cool. Maybe too ...

... hopefully it's clearer then. Another bear encounter here as well. Mama and yearling cub about 100 ft. away. Most yearlings are on their own by June so we had a clingy mom or a reluctant-to-leave child but they hung around for about 10 minutes. I have now visited all 48 lower states and have only Biscayne Nat. Park in Miami left to visit. Sooo ...
