Our last stop has been Gatlinburg, TN. We enjoyed our visit to the Dixie Stampede and Dollywood. Jim looked all over the place, high and low but never saw Dolly! We ran into the Compton's from Lexington who happened to be here too. We enjoyed having dinner together with Ben, Suzanne, Charlie and Nancy. It was nice to have friends to enjoy a meal with again.

It will be wonderful to be back in South Carolina even though there will be lots of changes from ...

... drove to Asheville, North Carolina (40 minutes from Marion) then
onto Yogi in the Smokies near Cherokee NC. The GPS sent us up into
the mountains then onto a very small road. We stopped before we had
driven up it properly and thought since it looked barely big enough
for a car, it may not be ok to go up it with an RV. Good choice!
Backing back we found an alternative route and arrived in one piece
and with little stress which I imagine it ...

... 45 mile stretch and they were all on the other side of the road. Once we had all re grouped we headed off for lunch at the Rib Country for some BBQ before heading back. We got back just in time as the rain hit and boy did it hit. Another good night of good company, food and drink was had. Marcia and I have been ...
