... We were pleasantly surprised...but fully expect the MSG effect to kick in shortly! By the way, the Red Sox team have made it to the World Series...or something important like that. They play a best out of 7 games as a Grand Final. Can you imagine what Boston must be like at the moment? If you see any footage of the games fron Fenway Park, you should recognise the B Strong sign in the grass on the out ...

First day of class with a short walk to classes on the Chestnut Hill campus about 500m done the road. Our teacher was Rev Fr Michael Himes, an elderly man with great passion and knowledge. Classes started at 8:45 with Bagel break at 10:50 to 11:10. Bagel break is exactly what the name suggest - bagels and coffee and a chance to socialise. Classes finished at 11:45 am with mass at 12:00 in the near by Chapel.

This is state # 49 for Phil- That takes care of the lower 48 for the second time just leaving Alaska to complete his quest. Same for me but I still need to visit Florida one more time. This drive today is right on the northern edges of Lake Superior, a beautiful view everywhere so far. We aimed for Thunder Bay for ...

... not unexpected but still hard for the family. What a start to the day! Later took clothes to the laundry, visited the ATM machine and on to the beach.Today is a another perfect day and may be the last chance on the beach for a while. The whole gang had said they planned to be there today, but we were alone for the first and then Spucky arrived. Ernie came by, Robbie stopped for a bit and said Paul H was about 2 blocks north of us so we packed everything to the car and walked ...
