    ... trip I've been through some tidy towns that seemed dead, this was more sad because it felt like it was once alive, but has slowly died, whereas the others were never really alive.     Well another dry day yippee. We left Chattanooga on the Interstate 24 ( they are long tree lined corridors, you do not see the country side ) leaving the 24 we joined state road 50, a much nicer route. Whilst driving to Lynchburg we crossed the time line, so now we are 6 hours behind you all. Arriving at The Jack Daniel Distillery, our tour was about an hour and half. More dates and information.     The town of Franklin has an annual event where people in the Westheaven subdivision allow bands to play on their porches. They also have a park where bands play as well.
