Arrived early and got our pick of sites. We got this one right on the lake. At dusk, the family of skunks would come out to enjoy the fallen crab apples on the tree in our site. The sunsets were gorgeous! We met Puff the Purple Dragon on the beach! Loved the water tower.

... the time in the car. I’ve mentioned naps in the past. These are good and regular for Matt and Izze. Paula sometimes takes a “power nap”. She has a theory that a 15-20 minute nap is better than a 1-2 hour nap. I have only napped once or twice this during our journeys, but I’m definitely in the longer nap category myself.

Today was a much better day…we're on a fairgrounds lot within walking distance of a Casey’s gas station, there was an easy place to leave Fridman’s car and we’re on level, solid ground. That’s enough to make me weep with joy. There’s a small ditch we need to cross to get to the tent, so as long as it doesn’t rain today, we’re golden.
