... and the Weather Channel announced that I-95 (our route) was closed in places due to the flooding. We decided that it was not worth the risk and on our way through Cincinnati, Wendel called and encouraged us to go to Nashville. It did not take much convincing. ... the cave system. Descending a total of 249 steps, lead us through a myriad of sometimes very narrow passages that opened up into vast room-like caverns.
