... Subway and then we started to hunt for a homeless person who we could give our cooler which still had cold drinks in it. We drove around about 20 minutes until we found a man walking that we could pull over and talk to. We asked him if he would like a cooler full of cold drinks. He said "absolutely" and we gave him our cooler. We had purchased the cooler cheaply at Kmart when we first ...

Today after heading to a braid bar in the morning, Hannah and I went and saw a live recording of The Late Late Show with James Corden. It was actually surprisingly good! Not at all what I expected and pretty exciting to be on TV. The guests he has were Assif Mandvi, Jessica Szohr, and Nick Thune. Was a really good experience and definitely worth the time. Weren't allowed to take photos in the studio though ...

... out the heated argument going on in the car park. We set our alarms for an early getaway hoping to make it to the coast by midday. Thankfully, the miles went by pretty quickly and before we knew it we were heading up the scenic Highway 1 along the coast. With stunning views of the ocean, and having stopped off at the Elephant Seal Viewing Area near Hearst Castle (William Randolph Hearst's old gaff), we soon forgot about Bakersfield. Arriving at Plaskett Campground just after midday ...

Writing this at 8.30pm LAX Airport Los Angeles.

Today has been a blur. We set off from Morro Bay at around 10am. We drove south towards Los Angeles through the suburb of Malibu passing homes of the rich and famous until we noticed the turn off for Santa Monica Pier. This is the official ending of Route 66. We parked the car and posed for photos at the famous 'End of Route 66' sign. We can't help feeling like ...
