      ... it was an oceanview. Carol got a blueberry slushy, made with real blueberries, and I ordered a gingerbread smoothie, which was also awesome.

      We walked more and checked out the pier shops. We then followed into the mini theme park they have on the Santa Monica Pier, took a ride on the roller coaster over the ocean. Pretty hectic that was. We only paid for one, but she let us go twice :)

      ... kept complaining about other stuff so we were worried about our room but turns out we have had no issues. We have been for a stroll down Hollywood boulevard , first impression is there is allot of rubbish laying around it looks pretty run down and it has a weird smell , it just reminds us of the streets in Bali ,not as clean as we expected, and weirdly enough it was extremely hard finding any places ...

      We kept driving until we found a spot where we could spend the night. We noticed that many cars as well as some camper vans were already parked there so we figured it was the official camping place.       ... feet from the curb and you are told to wait in there. We happened to behind 50 or so little kids on some expedition. When the tram pulled up, people skipped the line altogether and walked right on the tram from the side. No room for the us. When Mark complained, he was told that we had to wait for the next tram back by the ropes. Again, the tram pulls up and people get on from the side skipping the line.
