      ... like waters. But it was beautiful. There are walkways all along the canals, running right behind people's houses so it was a little awkward sometimes but everyone I passed by was very friendly, so it was fine. Some houses had beautiful landscaping, beautiful flowers, and boats docked in the water. It was really amazing. Definitely worth walking a few blocks away from the beach and exploring if you're ever there.

      ... very overwhelmed by this visual overload and it was nothing like I had seen before, not even at Times Square in New York. After the necessary catching up we had a great night sleep in the amazing beds of the Planet Hollywood hotel and woke up the morning after only to see that we had slept until 2 in the afternoon.       ... Beach but we're in a really a scruffy road, not at all what you expect Long Beach to look like at all but the hotels were all booked & the ones at the beach were over $200 a night. The Days Inn is actually fine but when we go down to meet Teen at hers it looks pretty rough, asked the receptionist where we can eat & she says Subway's over the road!
