... narrow to get a machine in between them. The newer vineyards are planted with a greater distance between rows, so the machines can be used for harvesting the grapes.

We drove along the ocean road through Malibu, there are some seriously huge houses down there as well. Malibu is a massive area and took over an hour to cover. We also stopped at Santa Barbara, which was a lovely little city, very quaint and picturesque. The GPS was not playing nicely at one stage, and we spent some wasted time at a freeway intersection.
