... people. Because our room was a roomette we had bunk beds and this time Russ got the short straw, he got the top. It was just so funny watching him getting up into bed, just as well he doesn't have to get up in the night as much as I do.

... would just say soft boiled eggs...but Deutschlanders make a production of it. The Peep Ei sings us tunes to tell us just exactly when the eggs are done to OUR perfection . (And just when you thought you had heard of all possible kitchen chatchke's). The little caps were hand crocheted by Kathy to keep perfectly prepared 'ei' cozy! Ah ...

... the countryside around all the vineyards are beautiful! The rolling golden hills are spectactular! We tasted some great wines! Then headed off for lunch in downtown Livermore, where we met Julia (2nd eldest daughter) and her husband Tim and their oldest son Sam, another gorgeous lovely family!
