Next 1 1/2 hours, we climbed the foothills and got closer to the mountains all the way into Saltillo. Mostly buses and trucks on the road, very few cars, even in the daytime, except when you get to a city.
We were excited to finally hit the road and make our way more west into Texas. The weather still wasn't great but we had hope. We drove across southern Texas to Laredo. A small town right on the Mexican border. We stopped at lake Casa Blanca State Park to set up camp for the afternoon. It was game day so we knew we had to find a good place to watch the Pats.
