Today our group got to spend a full day at Universal / Islands of Adventure and boy did they soak in as much as they possibly could. I unfortunately was back under the covers at the hotel as my head cold came out full force. After a 8;30am start, some of the group didn't return until after midnight! We had planned on a 45-60 minute stop. However, the service was so slow at this location. By the time we had all eaten and paid our bills, it had been close to two hours. We made notes not to stop at this location next year on the trip home. Back on board they put a movie on to play, ...

    Dress Rehearsal

A travel blog entry by blairuwp on Feb 01, 2013

We are finally getting ready to put our show on the stage. Today and all of next week are dress rehearsals, where we start adding in things like the stage, lights, sound, costumes, makeup, and the band. It's starting to look really good. Though we are a little cramped with our cast of 100, it's still going to be a great show. We finally got to meet our director, Umberto. He's really awesome, and I really enjoy ...
