Well, it's almost 4:00 & I haven't taken any photos... Matt has but I haven't. He took a 10 mile mountain bike ride on the Trail of Four Winds. It was difficult, but he had a blast. While he was biking, I was recharging. Literally, recharging- many of our devices at a local Starbucks. The afternoon has been a quiet one.... Took a nap, did some paddling, caught up on ...

Note to ourselves, from 435 out of KC, take Hwy 50 all the way to Hwy 5. Nice wide, smooth road!! We found a really nice campsite, lakeside, at LOTO State Park (site 162). The park is really beautiful, leaves are just changing, park staff super nice (especially Pearl :) ). We decided we really like the name Pearl...would like a grand- daughter to be named Pearl. If we don't have any takers, that's what we'll name our next dog! Here are some of our favorite photos from ...

... places so I was happy to have my walking stick – thanks, Christi!   I was hoping for a trail along the lake shore but the only lakeside trail is accessible only by boat.   Much of the rest of the lake is bordered by resorts and marinas.    Relaxing evening at the campground, taking advantage of the Internet ...
