        Not much happening in Kokomo

A travel blog entry by woggley on Aug 29, 2016

The only reason I'm going to mention Kokomo is because the ride up and across the Indiana corn farms is not much to write home about
Then when j get to Kokomo I go to the motel 6, where there is a sign in the foyer saying it's cheaper to book direct.
        Not the case here tho.
The sign outside said a higher price than I found online, when I …

        Luke to pull out later.

The weather was pretty nice in
Indiana. One afternoon, I took the 2 oldest kids out for a walk in the
stroller. But the wind was pretty fierce, so we didn't stay out too
long. Another afternoon, the kids were out playing in the sandbox in
        the yard.

On Monday, Ellen did take me up to where David goes to
pre-school and then we tried to do 1 letterbox, but failed ...

enough, is literally crumbling down. It has asbestos in it and they
cannot raise enough money to even have it torn down.

        We stopped
at the hardware store and Mom introduced herself to the current
owners. They have owned it for over 20 years. The original floors are
still there and some other aspects look similar. Mom showed her the
picture of J.W. Dale and Homer and Hal standing in the store over ...

        White River Campground

A travel blog entry by missvidalia on Jun 19, 2014

This is a lovely, quiet campground beside the white river. I was the only RV and my section which was next to a side stream. I walk the loop as it began to sprinkle, so I returned to the RV and had supper. A major lightning and thunderstorms began about midnight and lasted till 230. There was a lot of rain with some wind, but it was the lightning that was amazing to watch I opened all the curtains and blinds so that I could watch it in all its ...

Our lot is at a park (Future Park…the park of the future!) and it’s nice once again to be on grass. The skies are threatening rain but hopefully it will hold off for the shows. If it rains too much, we’ll need to move off of ...
