... drove a lot today. Logan did a 5 hour stint, the last 3 driving alone as I opted for the comfort of Eric's truck.
As soon as we were checked in, it was back on the road for a short trip to Cracker Barrel for dinner. We returned to the rooms with everyone full and ready to relax.
Another 500 mile day scheduled for tomorrow, so I am getting some sleep.
Life is good.
... we had to stop coz it was raining so hard was so hard we couldn't see where we were going We stopped at this little hotel and they gave us free coffee and let us use the restroom, they were so lovely. Off to get something to eat then on to Nashville tomorrow baby!!! Love and miss you all loads ...
The RV left Blythewood, SC with hound dog, Braddock, comfy in the co-pilot's seat and 5 hours later, we arrived at our beautiful Walmart campground. Check out that sunset...just beautiful!
Along the way, we listened to the World Cup soccer matches on XM radio. Too bad about the blokes from England. They may be on their way home soon after losing today ...
So we got a late start Saturday due to cirmcumstances beyond our control. When we left we wanted to be in TN and didn't know where. We decided on Knoxville.
Left Strongville and gas was $3.97, the first exit of TN we stopped to fuel up @ $3.43 and in Knoxville it was $3.35. I think OH is getting ripped off.
Saw a civil war memorial describing how the civil war divided TN between the African - American and white cultures.
