A long day of travel but I made it! Knoxville through Chicago to Newark. I waited about an hour for Claudia to arrive but then we scouted about the airport and shared a pizza for dinner. The restaurant had bubble lights which made us think of Carolyn building her house! Plane boarding and departure were on time and we were flying across the Atlantic. I slept a little though I do not do well sleeping on planes. About 9 hours later we arrived ...

... highlights of the day were socializing Jerry Wrinkle, son of my fourth grade teacher at Chilhowee Elementary School, who was serving as a tournament official, and Knox County Sheriff J.J. Jones, whose officers provided security for the event. Another interesting side story was talking to some attendees who had used Uber to taxi them there and ferry them home. August 21st – day 109

Today we drove through Gatlinburg and
Pigeon Forge on the way to Maryville TN. Gatlinburg was too commercial
for us plus no place to park a car let along an RV. Pigeon Forge has
