... camper around. We were fortunate to be close to a turn around and by then they had shut the interstate down and were directing people off onto the frontage road. Right before we were about to get past the fire via the frontage road, they ended up having to shut it down as well so we had to turn around again. We also stopped in at another food store, Cardenas, very Hispanic with a tortilla-making place and a bakery with slightly different options and many signs and packaging in Spanish. South from Laughlin towards Needles California then west on I40 to a turn-off for Historic Route 66, One day I would like to be able to say we've been on all the parts of this "Mother Road" that still exist.
