... matter how old you are, there is that child-like excitement arriving at a Disney park. The kids were very excited as well thanks to the ride descriptions at California Adventure park given by Michelle and Shaun over breakfast.

The pain began to subside and even though the poison control centre confirmed that they thought it likely was a striped back Scorpion, which isn't the most deadly, but does have a nasty sting. Gina woke up with the commotion as Shaun was busting up ice for Michelle to put on her arm/leg. Now Gina, who doesn't need much to get paranoid about bugs, got all worked up and had a hard time sleeping.

Arrived at Indian Wells Carefree RV resort to lovely warm sunny weather. We were next door to Shields Date Farm. The campsites were close together and we didn't really warm to the campground. ... and visited the Date Museum and 1909 Schoolhouse. Did you know the sod for the Super Bowl comes from here each year and it's a big deal when the trucks roll out with it? We have not googled to confirm said fact and Denis thinks some Super Bowl fields may be astroturf but she was so informative. After that a visit to a Shields Date Farm to have an amazing date shake. Had one in 2008 when here and tried two locations and found Shields to be the best. ...
