The start of our trip.
Departure from Huntsville toward Chicago. Got an all day lay over in Chicago because there is only one flght to Chicago from Huntsville.
All went well other than the American Airlines agent had to physically complete the baggage connection between Paris and Malta. This meant that he had to hand write the ultimate destination. I don' think he has ever heard of Malta.

Next up were some of the simulators, rides & rock climbing wall. The parents were given ...

So we had a 'team' photo, then did the multi-axis trainer ( the spinny thing), did training for our first mission & built a rocket...all before dinner! Fish & chips or Pit roast for dinner, then learnt about exercising, eating, going to the toilet & even vomiting in space - I wish that talk ...
