    ... just pieces of alligator, spiced and fried in batter. It turned out to be the best part of the meal because it was like the dark meat of a chicken, with the texture of shrimp.     This is just a blog entry to say that this blog probably won't be active until around March. I mean we do a little bit of traveling around Houston... If you can call Galveston or The Texas Renaissance Festival traveling... But this blog is meant to document our road trips.
