New Years Eve - Fireworks at Phelps
... It burnt right down and shot up only about 4 feet into the air where 3 huge explosions of fire and sound scared the s*it out of us. Lucky it was just a few of the blokes and we pi**ed ourselves laughing. We then realised that the long stick part of the firework had to lean against something or go in a cylinder, not be jabbed into the ground.

Driving from New York City to Phelps
... and some re-directing by the lady in the GPS we were out of the city and on our way to the country. The weather turned pretty awful outside of New York City with a lot of rain and wind not assisting our cause. The trip to Phelps is a bit weird geographically. We leave NYC which is in New York State, cross the border into New Jersey, then into Pennsylvania and end up back in New York State or "Upstate ...
