We started our day in Fort Worth at a nature reserve. We parked up at the visitors centre and started with a 1 mile walk. We immediately came across a couple of large spiders and heaps of different coloured dragonflies. Sam wasn't keen on the walk after seeing the spiders and knowing there might be snakes around. The walk itself was nice though. We came across 'Prairie Dog Town' which at the time we could only see about four of them from the fence ...
10/1 Day 102 We are still camped at Texan RV Ranch and went sightseeing in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We started out going to Dealey Plaza this was the site where John Kennedy was shot. ... a Rodeo there every Friday & Saturday. We were gutted that it was only Wednesday as you could tell it would've been an incredible experience. Had some beers at the White Elephant Saloon which is the oldest pub in the area. Its walls & ceilings were lined in cowboys hat and other memorabilia. Then we had dinner at Miss Molly's, which was the closest thing to a home cooked meal we've had. The starter salad came with a "side" CUP of dressing. I thought it ...
