... an owl is. Although sometimes, she gets it confused with an "owie." I have no idea how to spell that, but we have started substituting the words "boo boo."

Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously. We chose a sampler tray of different meat including; beef brisket, chicken jalapeno poppers, spicy sausage, and some beef skewers plus we added corn on the cobb. Everyone's favorite was the beef ...

... br> Hayley very kindly helped me take off my nail polish (poor nails have been under gels for six weeks, they need a break!) and then we took our Jamaican Me Happy strawberry, lemon, watermelon, guava beer to the hot tub and relaxed for half an hour. Every day should end with a hot tub Jacuzzi soak, it really is the best.

That’s it for our Fort Worth adventure! Tomorrow we travel northeast to Broken Arrow and my amazing, wonderful, very kindly hospitable family! Can’t wait!

... a good recovery from neck surgery. He should be home Saturday for 3 weeks recuperation.

To round out the day we had supper at the local Mexican restaurant, enjoying fajitas along with margaritas. Then sat out at home with desert of root beer floater (with ice cream) till 9pm with temps still high 70's.

Ony remains to pack for Saturday night flight home, leaving at 8pm.
