    ... closed the bags for the last time and got the shuttle to the airport. Checked in, through security (another SMALL bottle of water taken off me and nearly the Vegemite, which I had forgotten to move into checked luggage). Up to the Qantas Club to wait out the rest of the time - and have lunch (at 5.30pm).

    Boarded the A380 ready for 8pm departure. Sat in the Tarmac for 30 mins, then up, up and away.

    10. Ordering something off a menu and not being surprised with what you actually get. Sometimes the surprise comes mid bite! Often it involves a lot of cheese even though it said nothing about cheese on the menu.
    9. Every time you buy something you don´t have to do some sort of conversion rate of the day in your head to figure out how much it actually costs.
