... bison were mooing occasionally, just like cows. After looking at the bison we drive to a nearby mini golf course. The golf holes were absolutely huge! Also several of the holes were multi level. You would start at the top level and if you got the ball into the side holes the ball would move down to the middle level, but if you got it into the middle hole the ball would go straight to the bottom level. Sam did pretty well for the first 9 holes, ...

... a major tourist attraction. At the back edge of the old stockyards was a railroad roundhouse area. If we had gotten to the area a little earlier we could have seen a cattle drive with long horns but due to the accident we were too late. ... we chatted on about James McAvoy and she told me some hilarious stories about her clumsiness. My favourite is how her boss rarely trusts her with the expensive glass bowl she was using to soak my hands in as she dropped it on her first day. And then she told me how once her cousin painted the wall in her Aunts newly remodelled house with black shoe polish, and as she ran back and forth to the kitchen with towels trying to get it off before she noticed, she slipped and did ...

... grumpy at himself for judging the guy based on his appearance. It had stopped raining but was still a pretty rubbish day. Visited the Water Gardens and thought we had encountered a fail when the first water feature had been drained. The gardens featured a variety of waterfalls, cascades, streams and fountains. Would've been much more spectacular on a sunny day. Next we followed the tourist map to Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District in search of ...
