          ... Vero Beach and the coastline, then a right turn to final for an "acceptable" landing in gusty crosswinds. Still not sure why they didn't land us on RWY 32 but, hey, we made it from Colorado to Florida in 2 days after only 11.5 hours of flying. Try that over the road!! We arrived at our Holiday Inn Express and were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the suite. Enough room to repack for the next leg to the Bahamas on Saturday.           ... by the owner, Bill Green, and learned that he has been featured in several publications as well as on the Martha Stewart Show and Anthony Bordain for his traditional Gullah recipes. The Gullah are African Americans who live in the low country region of South Carolina and Georgia and are known for preserving their African American heritage more than any other community in the U.S. Such a great find!
