    wasn't somewhere we wanted to stay overnight. So we headed to Fresno
    and then stopped at a Pilot Truck Stop in Madera, just outside of
    Fresno. It was chock full of trucks and we ended up parking on the
    road outside. Thankfully I had the eye mask and ear buds to hide the
    sound of a hundred idling trucks. They go all night long.

    ... of all the tree to fit into ;) .... we walk around General Grove which is filled with these massive, enormous, humongous .... in other words "BIG" trees. There is a tree that has fallen over in the 1800's and it was hollow inside. Just imagine the size of this tree laying down, it was used as a stable to house 32 horses, people at one stage lived in the tree and made it their home.

    W were up at 5:30 this morning to see the sunrise on the canyon....just amazing! Breakfast then on the bus for a ten hour drive to Fresno which took us out of Nevada and into California.
