          ... my husband as he dealt with Mom's care from a distance of a thousand miles. He had one trip south to see her and was able to handle some details with his brother while there. May 28th Mom passed and we headed south for her funeral and additional details. Thankfully we were still in town when my mother was life-flighted to the hospital. I was able to spend time with her and my sister before we returned home.

          We really did not get up to much today, compared to yesterday. We have been infected by Eugene's relaxed vibe, and on top of that, I'm completely absorbed in the book I'm currently reading.           ... we had tasted previously and finally he had a luscious Late Harvest Riesling, made in Ice Wine style. A rich array!. Peter bought a mixed half dozen on his sniffing and our recommendations. Daniel had been to Australia and Adelaide in particular and had an instinctive approach to winemaking which obviously pays off. What a great way to finish the day.
