... bed at 8 in the morning, but today I was in a conference room, meeting the other lucky students to go on this trip while learning crucial information. This upcoming trip felt real the moment that I saw the departure date, and how I realized it is less than a month away from today. I have been so busy with my upcoming final exams that I forgot how quickly this Summer is approaching!

Perhaps it was the bicycle orientation that made me realize that the school year ...

We went out into a pretty garden area and sat in the shade on what was promising to be a very warm day. The first wine was a Pinot Gris. This was excellent, especially when we saw the price was only $21.The second white was a Pinot Blanc, not as good but better than those we had tasted in the Okenagen Valley. Good value for money. For mains Fletcher had the Lasagna which was luscious while my Prawns and scallops with angel hair pasta was delicious, the tomato and red capsicum sauce being plentiful and tasty. The bottle of Sicilian red really complemented the food. Though the desserts menu was tempting we had no room for any more and we drove back to Peter's feeling sated and happy. We are really enjoying Oregon!

Whatever the tiny amount you know of Howard Hughes, he was a legend and the world needs people like him.

This was an extraordinary privilege and something I will treasure.

... soccer stadium thanks to Kevin and Dee, Trent's in-laws. And the spread put on by Trent and Dee was fantastic! The frame of reference for tailgating is Penn State for Jason and Florida State for Janell, so all tailgating will be compared to those to schools in the mid-90's. Oregon gets pretty good marks. Rating: 7 of 10.
