    ... are eroding, needless to say it humbles me to think my life only impacts a small amount and time on these mountains. Once arriving at Black Kettle National Grassland, I was amazed by the hot heat conrrasted to the cold windy lunch we had today. There was so many different types of plants and flowers which surprised me due to the 4year drought they have been in. I got to see yucca, cottonwood, primerose, Indian blanket flower and many more. ...

    ... still raining! This is only a one night stand as a stop over to Texas. This is a smaller KOA, but it has all the conveniences required. I head over and do a load of laundry and come back to book some more campsites. We are now good through to the end of May. I have some breathing room now and much calmer. We have a relaxing evening and head off to bed.

    Tomorrow we are off to Texas and will be stopping for three whole days. There will be more pictures and stories to tell you ...

    When we left Gallup, NM this morning the temp was down in the 20's. Even the cold didn't serve to wake me up. After deciding to return home early, it seems my metabolism has decided to wake me as soon as possible and refuse to let me go back to sleep.
